1. About These Terms

Welcome to Sea Bound Cottages.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our websites, including our main website and our Hostaway-powered booking website at seabound.holidayfuture.com.

“We”, “us” and “our” refer to Sea Bound Cottages. “You” and “your” refer to the person accessing or using our websites.

By accessing or using our websites, you agree to these terms to the extent they apply to your use. If you do not agree, please stop using the websites.

These are website terms. Prices, payment schedules, cancellation policies, house rules and other conditions for a stay are provided separately during booking and in your reservation documents.

2. Availability, Prices and Reservations

Our booking tools and reservation checkout are supplied by Hostaway. Availability may change as reservations are made across booking channels. Viewing availability or selecting dates does not, by itself, reserve a cottage.

Before submitting a reservation, please review your selected cottage, dates, guest numbers, total price, taxes, fees and all applicable booking conditions.

A reservation is subject to the confirmation and conditions issued through the booking process.

For changes, cancellations, refunds, deposits or questions about an existing reservation, consult the conditions attached to that booking or contact us. These website terms do not replace or amend those conditions.

3. Property Descriptions and Photography

We aim to keep our descriptions and photographs useful and accurate. However, occasional errors, interruptions or outdated information may occur. Furniture, seasonal scenery and property details can change.

Photographs illustrate the cottages and their setting. Weather, lighting, views and seasonal conditions will vary.

If an amenity, accessibility requirement or particular feature is essential to your stay, please confirm it with us before booking.

The cottages sit above steep coastal terrain. There is no direct shoreline access from the property.

4. Acceptable Use

You may browse our websites, compare cottages, view photographs and use our booking tools for genuine enquiries and reservations.

You must not:

Attempt unauthorised access to our websites, accounts or systems.

Introduce malicious code or interfere with the operation of our websites.

Impersonate another person or submit misleading information.

Use our websites or booking services for unlawful purposes.

5. Content Ownership and Permitted Use

Website photographs, branding, text and design are owned by Sea Bound Cottages or used with permission from their respective owners.

You may view this material for personal trip planning and share links to our websites. All intellectual property rights remain with the relevant owners.

Except with permission or as allowed by applicable law, you must not:

Our main website displays selected review excerpts with links to their sources. Reviews appearing on third-party booking platforms are also subject to those platforms’ rules.

Our main website does not provide a public comments or discussion area.

If you send us text, photographs or other material for possible publication, please ensure that:

You have the necessary rights and permissions.

The material is lawful and accurate to your experience.

It respects other people’s privacy and intellectual property rights.

It does not contain unrelated advertising or misleading information.

Submission alone does not grant us an unrestricted licence to publish or edit your material. We will seek the necessary permission before using it.

7. Linking to Our Websites and Use of Our Branding

You may link to our homepage or other publicly available pages using our name, a descriptive text link or the page address, provided the link:

Does not suggest sponsorship, endorsement or a business relationship that does not exist.

Accurately represents the content being linked.

Permission to link does not grant permission to reproduce our logo or artwork. Please obtain written permission to use those assets, except where applicable law permits otherwise.

Hostaway’s booking tools, checkout and other external services are operated by their respective providers. Their applicable terms and privacy notices govern your use of those services.

We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of third-party websites or tools.

External links are provided for convenience. If a booking tool is unavailable, contact us for assistance.

Please do not send payment-card details by email.

10. Problems With Links or Content

If you find a broken link, believe linked material is inappropriate or have a concern about content on our websites, email info@hightidehomes.com.

Please include the page address and a brief explanation.

We will consider requests to correct or remove content or links. A request does not automatically require removal where the material is lawful and no applicable obligation requires it.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

13. Applicable Law and Changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, subject to any mandatory rights or jurisdiction rules that apply to you.

We may update these terms for future website use by posting a revised version and date.

Changes to these website terms do not automatically change an existing reservation agreement.
